  • Earth Station Installation / Maintenance

    MENAsist team provides turnkey satellite antenna with RF and baseband system installation. We listen to our customers to understand their project requirements and use our experience to provide effective solutions. We prepare a link budget to understand the size of RF and Antenna system.  The link budget will determine the size antenna to use, SSPA or TWTA power requirements, link availability, bit error rate, and in general, the overall customer satisfaction with our work.

    The steps of our working process are as follows:

  • Preparation of initial system diagram and share with customer.
  • Decision on final configuration with customer.
  • Final site survey and CDR meeting to determine each single point like cable tray way to equipment IP list.

    We check RF leakages and waveguides, cable losses from high power amplifier output to antenna OMT input.

    Upon completion of the system installation and reflector alignment, MENAsist team performs Tx and Rx system radiation pattern test, G/T calculation and antenna gain calculation.

    If customer needs any initial line up test or full line up test with satellite operator our team performs it.

    Also our team performs antenna relocation, band change and/or maintenance work.

  • Headend System Installation

    MENAsist can supply and install end-to-end headend system solutions for DTH IPTV WEB TV operators.

  • Antenna installation for Rx system: We install fixed and motorized Rx only antennas to receive TV sources from satellites. L-band satellite signal is sent to system rooms over L band cables or fiber connections.
  • RF system and antenna redundancy: If customer requires, MENAsist supplies Antenna redundancy system for auto recover L band reception for cases of failure.
  • RF routers and splitters: We supply high quality RF routers and splitters for signal delivery and distribution.
  • Demodulation: We install DVB S and DVB S2 receiving systems to demodulate signal and change L band modulated signal to MPEGoIP / ASI / MPEG 2 /4 HD/SD transcoded signal or SDI video regarding customer requirements.
  • Encoder and Multiplexer system: We provide HD / SD or hybrid encoder and multiplexer system design.
  • Input / output redundancy routers: HD or SD video routers for input redundancy of the Encoders. ASI or IP output redundancy routers for encoder output redundancy. Multiplexers with ASI or IP output redundancy routers.

  • IPTV Solutions

    IPTV is defined as multimedia services such as television / video / audio / text / graphics / data delivered over IP based networks managed to provide the required level of quality of service and experience, security, interactivity and reliability. We provide IPTV and Hybrid IPTV solutions at every scale, from global digital distribution systems to local corporate / hotel / apartment complex  networks.   

  • HEAD-END: Where live TV channels are encoded, encrypted and delivered in the form of IP multicast streams.
  • VOD PLATFORM: Where on-demand video assets are stored and served when a user makes a request in the form of IP unicast stream.
  • INTERACTIVITY: Allowing the user to navigate within the different IPTV services, such as the VOD catalog.
  • DELIVERY NETWORK: The packet switched network that carries IP packets (unicast and multicast).
  • USER’S HOME: The users can view the video via their Smart TVs, IP STB, Tablets and smart mobile phones and they can access content data interactively. Supplier may, for example, include an interactive program guide that allows viewers to search for content by title or actor’s name, or a picture-in-picture functionality that allows them to “channel surf” without leaving the program they’re watching.

  • Hybrid IPTV

 

    Hybrid IPTV has grown in popularity in recent years as a result of two major drivers. Since the emergence of online video aggregation sites, like You Tube and Vimeo in the mid-2000s, traditional pay TV operators have come under increasing pressure to provide their subscribers with a means of viewing Internet-based video [both professional and user-generated] on their televisions. At the same time, specialist IP-based operators [often telecommunications providers] have looked for ways to offer analogue and digital terrestrial services to their operations, without adding either additional cost or complexity to their transmission operations. Bandwidth is a valuable asset for operators, so many have looked for alternative ways to deliver these new services without investing in additional network infrastructures.

    A hybrid set-top allows content from a range of sources, including terrestrial broadcast, satellite, and cable, to be brought together with video delivered over the Internet via an Ethernet connection on the device. This enables television viewers to access a greater variety of content on their TV sets, without the need for a separate box for each service. Hybrid IPTV set-top boxes also enable users to access a range of advanced interactive services, such as VOD and catch-up TV, as well as Internet applications, including video telephony, surveillance, gaming, shopping, e-government accessed via a television set.
