The EI9001 is the standard encoder module for the AVP 4000 platform. One module occupies one slot, and a chassis takes up to four or six of them depending on the variant.
It accepts SD/HD-SDI video, encodes MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC, and supports up to eight stereo pairs of audio together with VANC data extraction.
