Ericsson AVP 4000 System Encoder
Compact 1RU system encoder chassis for IPTV, cable, satellite and broadcast.
The AVP 4000 is a compact 1RU system encoder with up to six hot-swappable option slots, taking combinations of encoding and auxiliary modules. Dual power supplies protect the service and an on-board video monitor gives operators instant feedback.
Codecs and resolutions are licensed in software, so the same chassis can be re-purposed across contribution, distribution and DSNG workflows without hardware changes.
